Alpbach Airport Transfers
The idyllic village of Alpbach in Austria sits in a stunning location on a sun-drenched plateau at around 1000 metres above sea level. It boasts lovely architecture which complements the surrounding landscape of lush meadows and pine forests perfectly. The locals are very proud of their village, and heighten its attraction creating amazing flower displays amongst the pretty houses which have led to Alpbach being awarded many prestigious titles, such as ‘the most beautiful village in Austria’ in 1983 and ‘Europe’s most beautiful flower village’ in the Entente Florale contest.
A visit to this area is ideal if you need some rest and relaxation, or if you are keen to try some of the varied activities.
In the winter you can ski 50 km of pistes as well as cross country trails, and in the summer you
can walk the mountain paths, cycle, paraglide, or just lie back and enjoy the view whilst sampling some of the delicious local specialities.
Airport transfers and airport shuttles from Innsbruck Airport to Alpbach centre are only 59 kilometers or 55 minutes, and Salzburg and Munich are also nearby, making it the ideal choice for a summer or winter break.
